ESB had an after-hour Sole Hope Shoe Cutting Party. We cut patterns out of blue jeans to be sent to Uganda for assembly.

"Samaritan's Feet Shoe Distribution"
Each year, ESB has a blast volunteering for the Samaritan's Feet Shoe Distribution, washing feet and distributing new shoes to children in the Memphis community.

We also raised funds for school uniforms, soccer uniforms and water wells for a small remote area in Zambia, Africa. Our president, Richard Schelp, has traveled there several times to assist with needs, leading classes, distributing food and coaching soccer. Our office staff also helped package meals for the school in Zambia.

Our team spent a several days with Living Lands & Waters doing some much-needed trash cleanup at McKellar Lake. The cleanup project lasted a month and bagged as much as 10,000 pounds of garbage per day.

ESB staff and families cooked and served food at the FedExFamilyHouse, which provides housing for out-of-town families with children at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Our staff decked themselves out in “Memphis Rocks” t-shirts, the profits of which will go entirely toward funding a memorial for Memphis police officers killed in the line of duty.

The ESB crew spent an evening making blanket care packages for chemotherapy patients at Memphis’ West Clinic.
