Dee Hock

Hock, founder of what went on to become the largest credit operation in the world,--VISA International --is a self-taught person known for his perceptivity and ability to connect theory with practice. Under his direction, the VISA organization became a pioneer of quality and innovation that developed--among other things, the first economic authorization system, electronic funds transfer, debit card system, magnetic stripe technology and electronic point-of-sale terminals.

Hock is deeply interested in the changing nature of commercial, social and political organizations as they enter the 21st Century.
