Phil Wilkins

Phil Wilkins is a business owner, consultant and author of The Wealthy Entrepreneur. Phil owns three businesses Diverse Wealth Systems which is a training and consulting organization, Rising Star, Inc. which owns and operates four McDonald's® restaurants in Lexington, Kentucky, and PJK Holdings a real estate investment company.

Phil began his McDonald's® career on July 1, 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio and faced many challenges including three new competitors, a young management team, and low capital reserves.

In August of 2000, Phil traded his restaurant in Cincinnati for a restaurant in Lexington, and immediately began rebuilding a second restaurant in the market which opened in November of 2000. His third restaurant opened in July 2001 substantially beating projections, and he acquired his fourth restaurant January 1, 2002.

As a result of teamwork, and a lot of hard work, Rising Star's restaurants are ranked in the top 10% of the nation in Mystery Shop Scores . . .
