Executive Speakers on SpeakersAdventure Climber and Resilience Speaker Jim Davidson sat down with Stephen and Jennifer to talk about his first live event since the COVID-19 pandemic. Jim offers great tips on what to watch for and how to successfully and safely participate in live events.
His tips include:
- Have conversations and do the research. Know what the guidelines are where you're going and have open conversations with your event planner and team on how to safely host a live event. Utilize your pre-event call wisely!
- Keep a PPE kit with you in each of your bags so that no matter where you are, you have it with you. Bonus* Carry an extra for the person sitting next to you.
- Choreograph your entrance and exit both into the building and onto the stage. Don't leave room to accidentally shake hands out of habit. Be sure only one person is on the stage at a time.
- Wear your mask.
- Show grace for each other.
