Cortney Lovell

Cortney Lovell is an international leader in recovery coaching. Driven by her personal experience of growth and empowerment through her recovery journey, Cortney is determined to uplift the field of peer services so that others too can discover the value of their experience.

Cortney has spent that past decade working within the evolving field of recovery supports. Clinically trained, Cortney identified early on in her career that her skills were best utilized in cultivating the emerging peer service field. After working nationally to develop recovery community organizations across the country, Cortney co-founded a company to equip individuals and organizations to best support others. As the Co-Founder of Our Wellness Collective and FindRecoveryCoaches.com, Cortney works with systems to uplift the evolving field of recovery coaching and peer services. She has worked with SAMHSA, HHS, CDC, the Office of Women’s Services, numerous state agencies, non-profit and private sector entities to support implementation, develop curriculum and offer training to diverse audiences. Some of those developed training’s include: the value of peer services, implementing peer services in medication-assisted programs, recovery coach academy for young adults, providing supervision for recovery coaches in clinical settings, and understanding medication-assisted treatment and recovery for recovery coaches.

Cortney resides in the countryside of upstate New York with her two beautiful children and the sweetest old rescue pup. She spends her time enjoying the outdoors with her family and exploring new cultures whenever possible.
