Paul Risner has 20 years experience as a practicing lawyer advising healthcare systems, hospitals, physicians and internet companies on issues such as Ethics, Managed Care, Bio-Ethics and End-of-Life Decisions, Medical Liability, Physicians, Privacy and the Internet. He has advised clients on all topics related to health care and has led his clients efforts to cope with a dynamic and perilous market. His clients have included large healthcare systems, large physician practices, healtcare dotcoms, and individuals in the healthcare professions. As General Counsel of PlanetRx.com, he saw the meteoric rise and fall of one of the premier healthcare IPO’s of 1999. He has experience, and stories to tell, from all of his many years as insider in a volatile industry.

Paul has led his companies through out the legal execution of strategic plans, marketing campaigns and adherence to legal-ethical standards for over 15 years. He has served as Ethics Officer and a bio-ethics consultant to his employers ands other organizations. He has led privacy and customer service initiatives and managed Guest Services for his employers and is a long term believer that ethical, customer-based companies will prevail in the long term market.
