Lauren Leader-Chivee Speaker Biography
Lauren Leader-Chivée is the founder and CEO of All In Together—a nonpartisan campaign to reignite the American women’s movement for the next generation. Formerly the president of the global think tank Center for Talent Innovation and founding partner at Hewlett Chivée Partners LLC, she has a unique, data-driven perspective on women’s issues, the future of leadership, diversity-driven innovation and the changing global workplace. Her forthcoming book examines why and how American demographic, gender and cultural diversity is its best yet most underleveraged economic asset.
In addition to her political work, Leader-Chivée advises and has worked with global corporations across industries, including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Genentech, Siemens, Deutsche Bank, Bloomberg, Credit Suisse, HP and many others. Her focus on building differentiated, high-impact strategies for driving business innovation by leveraging top, diverse talent has garnered her a devoted following among a long list of senior executives and has made her a sought-after speaker at a wide array of business, economic and political forums around the world.
Leader-Chivée has written extensively for Harvard Business Review, Inc. and Forbes and her thought leadership has been featured in a wide range of media, including the BBC, Dow Jones, CNN, Washington Post, New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. She is the co-author of Center for Talent Innovation publications Executive Presence, Sponsor Effect UK, The Battle for Female Talent in India and The X-Factor.
Earlier in her career, she advised hedge funds, investment banks and Fortune 500 companies as an independent talent management consultant and as part of the human capital practice at Booz & Company. She was vice president of human resources at OfficeTiger, helping build it from start-up to sector leader. She has also held leadership roles at Credit Suisse and Pfizer.
She is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a graduate of Barnard College.
