Selected in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, Olsen went on to build a remarkable 14-year career with the Bears, Carolina Panthers, and Seattle Seahawks. A key leader on Carolina’s Super Bowl 50 team, he became one of the most accomplished tight ends in NFL history. From 2014 to 2016, Olsen made history as the first tight end to record three consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons, while earning three straight Pro Bowl selections. He finished his career with 742 receptions, 8,683 receiving yards, and 60 touchdowns.
Following his retirement from the NFL, Olsen successfully transitioned into broadcasting, quickly establishing himself as one of the most respected voices in football. As an NFL analyst for FOX Sports, he has earned two Sports Emmy Awards, including Top Event Analyst, and called Super Bowl LVII.
