Also noted: he’s had 3 college Presidents (most recent was his uncle was the president of Rutgers University). His great grandfather Bill Trent helped start the UNCF and served on 2 presidential cabinets.
David is also a supporter of Project Linus, donating a portion of his speaking proceeds to help. (Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children 0 – 18 in the US who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. His “Grandma Kay” was a quilter.)
