Eric Clay Speaker Biography
Eric Sean Clay is a transformational security executive with more than three decades of law enforcement and security experience. Mr Clay is sought after as a SME in security issues, delivering presentations at international conferences, as well as frequently appearing in publications as an author and interviewee.
Mr Clay serves as the Vice President of Security Services for a major healthcare system, providing security leadership for 450 security and law enforcement officers at the System’s seventeen hospitals and 250 care sites. Mr. Clay also serves as the current President of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety, an association representing over 3,500 healthcare security and safety professionals.
Mr Clay has earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a master’s degree in Criminology, an MBA, and a graduate certificate in Police Leadership. Mr Clay has also earned the IAHSS Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator certification, and the ASIS "Triple Crown" through earning the Certified Protection Professional, Physical Security Professional, and Professional Certified Investigator certifications.
