Ryan Lavarnway Speaker Biography
Ryan Lavarnway is a former Major League Baseball player turned leadership coach and keynote speaker. Over his fifteen-year baseball career, Ryan played for eight different Major League teams, most notably the 2013 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. Internationally, he represented Israel in both the World Baseball Classic and the Olympics.
Ryan’s journey to the majors began as a standout at Yale University. In 2007, he became the NCAA batting champion with an impressive .467 average and set a new Ivy League career home run record with 34 homers. Drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2008, he made his Major League debut in 2011 and continued to excel, setting multiple MLB and franchise records. His international career was equally distinguished, earning MVP honors in the World Baseball Classic and becoming the first-ever captain of Team Israel ahead of the 2023 European Championships.
In his second career as a leadership coach and keynote speaker, Ryan has quickly established himself as a dynamic and engaging figure. This year alone, he has delivered over 40 paid speeches including appearances at multiple international conferences and Fortune 400 companies.
