Adam Virant is a coach, leader, and Director of Baseball Operations for the Savannah Bananas, one of the most innovative and entertaining organizations in sports. His unconventional career journey—from managing restaurants and practicing law to leading youth sports and helping build the Banana Ball phenomenon—has given him a unique perspective on leadership, teamwork, culture, and creating unforgettable experiences.
Virant joined the Savannah Bananas during the organization’s early years and became an integral part of its growth, serving as an assistant coach before becoming a full-time Director of Baseball Operations and Associate Head Coach. He has helped lead teams on the Banana Ball World Tour while championing a culture built around energy, connection, trust, and putting the fan experience first.
