Teea Goans Speaker Biography
Teea Goans is a Nashville-based singer who spent the past ten years performing around the country, making numerous appearances on the Grand Ole Opry while also appearing nationally on radio and TV. But in 2020, when the world shut down, songwriting became a newly discovered and therapeutic outlet and ultimately changed her life. Teea’s battle with chronic anxiety reached a new intensity and with a focus on mental wellbeing and a decision to develop her independence, Teea turned the page. Teea self-released her very first, all-original album, “All Over The Map”, in 2021 featuring co-writes with some of Music City’s most highly regarded songwriters, Jim “Moose” Brown, Don Sampson and James LeBlanc.
Teea’s diagnosis of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and ongoing anxiety helped her choose a path of treatment and the understanding that she felt most grounded when challenging herself daily to expand her artistic skill set and embrace getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. She honed her skills in change management, innovation and resiliency to emerge from the pandemic stronger and more self assured than ever in her life. Teea enjoys sharing her message of transformation and her music with audiences around the country.
