Cafe’ Joyeux’s Speaker Biography
Our story began on a sailing boat in Brittany, France. At the steering wheel is Captain Yann Bucaille-Lanzerac, a successful French entrepreneur, sharing his energy and his passion for sailing with others on his catamaran.
On this boat, no accommodations were spared or details overlooked; it is equipped to welcome passengers of all levels of needs and abilities.
One passenger, a young man with Down Syndrome named Theo, asks the Captain “Do you have a job for me?”. The boisterous atmosphere suddenly changed as Yann replied that he did not, “It’s complicated you know…”. Theo was silent.
From this encounter, the vision of CAFÉ JOYEUX was born.
