Rob Quillen Speaker Biography
Rob Quillen is an inspirational speaker that has a powerful life-changing message that everyone can benefit from hearing. His speech is an emotional journey from his very personal 9/11 experience. His message is a very positive lesson that he learned from the tragic events of 9/11.
Rob talks about how a series of coincidences led him to be sitting next to a perfect stranger on September 10th, 2001 on a flight to Newark, NJ that neither individual was supposed to be on. This lead to a conversation, one in which the stranger told Rob a dream that he had for his 15-year-old son. The stranger that was sitting next to Rob on the flight was Jason Dahl, who, the very next day was the pilot of Flight 93 that crashed into the field in Shanksville, PA during the terrorist attacks.
He continues his speech with what he witnessed on 9/11 as Rob was just a handful of blocks from the World Trade Center buildings. The speech takes you back to the tragic events of 9/11 when Rob talks about watching the second plane crash into the World Trade Center. Rob’s detailed step by step recollection talks about watching the towers collapse and his all-day attempt to let his family back home in Nebraska know that he was safe.
19 days after the events of 9/11, Rob made the dream come true for Jason’s 15-year-old son. Rob details how he made it happen, which leads into the message of his speech.
