He failed.
As a U.S. Air Force Special Operations Veteran, Jake faced failure early in his military career that nearly broke him. It wasn’t the enemy that caused it — it was his to own. That failure lit a fire he’s carried ever since — in the military, in business, and especially in sales.
This keynote is for sellers who live, under pressure, every day. For Reps who don’t have time for fluff and need real tools that actually work in the field.
Jake shares real-world-tested Tools, Techniques & Procedures (TTPs) that helped him turn failure into forward motion and drive consistent, repeatable success in sales, even in the toughest markets.

Sales Leadership Keynote
“Every Sales Result is a Leadership Result”: Building High-Performance Sales Teams Through Leadership, Accountability, and Execution
Before Jake Duffy scaled a $120M global sales organization into $300M+…Before he helped transform sales organizations across Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies…Before he coached thousands of sellers, managers, and executives around the world…
He failed.
As a U.S. Air Force Special Operations Veteran and business leader, Jake learned a lesson that would shape the rest of his career: When performance falls short, leaders can blame circumstances, markets, competitors, or people—or they can take ownership and build a better system.
The best sales leaders understand a simple truth: teams rarely rise above the standards, behaviors, and expectations established by leadership.
This keynote is designed for Sales Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents, CROs, and executive leaders responsible for developing people, driving performance, and creating cultures of accountability and execution.
Drawing from his experiences leading teams in high-pressure environments, building and scaling successful businesses, serving as a Global Sales Strategy & Transformation Executive, and helping organizations improve sales performance worldwide, Jake delivers practical leadership tools that help sales leaders create sustainable results—not just short-term spikes in performance.
Using principles from his Identity-Driven Leadership framework, Jake demonstrates how great sales leaders move beyond managing activity and begin building systems that develop people, standardize excellence, and drive consistent execution throughout the organization.
In today’s environment, sales leaders face increasing pressure to produce more with less, develop talent faster, improve retention, increase accountability, and consistently deliver results. Yet many organizations continue relying on motivation, heroic individual effort, and inconsistent management practices.
The result?
Inconsistent performance. Unpredictable forecasts. Manager-dependent outcomes, and teams that struggle to scale.
Jake teaches leaders how to replace complexity with clarity and create simple, scalable, and repeatable leadership systems that drive performance at every level of the sales organization.
Audience Takeaways:
• How personal accountability transformed Jake’s leadership approach and the way he builds high-performing teams.
• The Identity-Driven Leadership framework for creating consistency, ownership, and accountability across sales organizations.
• How elite sales leaders develop people—not just pipelines.
• Practical methods for standardizing winning behaviors without creating bureaucracy.
• Why culture is not built through slogans, but through the daily behaviors leaders reinforce and reward.
• How to create leadership systems that continue producing results even when leaders are not in the room
Jake will also walk your leaders through:
• Why coaching—not managing—is the highest leverage activity in sales leadership.
• How briefing, execution, and debriefing create continuous improvement and accelerate team performance.
• The difference between activity management and behavior development.
• How to build accountability systems that inspire ownership rather than compliance.
• Why simplicity is the foundation of scalability and organizational growth.
• The leadership habits that separate teams that occasionally win from teams that consistently outperform
Whether you’re trying to develop first-line managers, strengthen leadership bench depth, improve execution, or build a more accountable sales culture, this keynote delivers practical tools your leaders can immediately implement. Jake doesn’t teach leadership theory. He teaches leadership application. Because every sales result is ultimately a leadership result.
Booking Jake means bringing your leaders a proven framework for building teams that execute with discipline, accountability, and purpose. They won’t simply leave inspired—they will leave with practical tools to coach better, lead better, and create lasting performance improvements throughout their organization.

Safety Keynote
Safety Culture: It’s Just What We Do: How to Build a Culture Where Safety Is Everyone’s Responsibility
Safety isn’t a department – it’s a mindset. In this compelling and story-driven keynote, Patrick Houlahan, a decorated Marine F/A-18 fighter pilot and instructor, shares powerful lessons from the high-stakes world of naval aviation, where there is no room for error and the cost of complacency can be catastrophic. In 1954, Naval Aviation recorded 2,213 major mishaps. In 2024, that number dropped to just 13. This transformation wasn’t driven by policy – it was driven by culture.
